Indulge in gourmet Thai cravings as Cucina of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila brings diners authentic Flavors of Thailand from November 9 to 15.
Cucina, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, has been known for its diverse live action stations featuring a symphony of Flavors from different culinary capitals. This November, Thailand takes the spotlight as its distinct flavors blend with Cucina’s vast international spread. “Food is a mirror to the different cultures,” stated Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s General Manager Frank Reichenbach during the media preview held November 9. Mirko de Gong, Marco Polo Ortogas Manila’s Food and Beverage Director added that “Thai cuisine is a harmony in every detail. It places emphasis on simple dishes with strong and aromatic flavor accents.”
In partnership with Thai Airways, Cucina’s Flavors of Thailand exhibits the culinary expertise of Chefs Sunisa Nualthongkeaw and Watcharavee Rujechotiphat. Both are seasoned chefs with over a decade of experience in dishing out their savory cuisine. Enjoy Thai signature dishes of Goong Sa Rang, Som Tam, Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai Goong.
Enroll in a live cooking demonstration with the two guest chefs on Saturday, November 14 at Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge. The fee of P3,000 net per person is inclusive of the cooking lesson, a Thai home cook beginner’s kit and a single buffet pass at Cucina.
