A “Spectacular Christmas” is coming to the grand lobby of Makati Shangri-La, Manila as the hotel presents a playful inspiration that will dazzle and delight each guest with its holiday circus theme.
This season, the hotel offers a wonderful line-up of circus-themed activities, restaurant specials, holiday stay room packages, Christmas hampers, holiday treats and savories, and a spectacular New Year celebration.
SIGNATURE HOLIDAY DELICACIES
Check out the hotel’s circus Christmas-themed gift ideas in the form of handcrafted holiday hampers wrapped in an elegant and festive circus packaging, embossed with gold accents.
Guests may choose from the following: Christmas Carousel, Send in the Clowns, The Juggling Santa, Circus Tea at Shangri-La and Spectacular Christmas.
Individual Christmas goodies, including a variety of breads, chocolates, cookies, cakes, Christmas jams and holiday-flavored teas, are available for guests to choose from and take home.
To complete the holiday celebration, the hotel also offers gourmet savories to take home for a grand celebration or a humble family gathering.
Guests can cap off the Christmas feast with the hotel’s new, but equally delectable collection of Yule Logs, a traditional Christmas Roll Cake whose form is inspired by the early Scandinavian tradition of burning Christmas wooden logs to celebrate the winter solstice.
SPECTACULAR HOLIDAY STAYS
From December 15, 2015 to January 31, 2016, guests staying at Makati Shangri-La, Manila will be entitled to one raffle entry to the raffle promo. The lucky winner and his companion of choice will win a two-night stay each at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong and Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore with round-trip airfare via Cathay Pacific Airways.
Guests can get a raffle voucher while reveling in the spirit of Christmas through the hotel’s two holiday room packages: A Yuletide Escape and Seasons of Suite Luxury.
With A Yuletide Escape, all guests may book any room for stays from December 15 to 28, 2015 and January 1 to 10, 2016. This package includes buffet breakfast for two adults and two children below 6 years old at Circles Event Cafe.
Seasons of Suite Luxury, on the other hand, is an option where guests may book a Deluxe Room for two nights and receive a complimentary third night from December 15, 2015 to January 10, 2016. The package includes daily buffet breakfast for two adults and two children below 6 years old at Circles Event Café.

HOTEL HOLIDAY TREATS
Christmas activities will take place throughout the holidays. Santa Claus will meet and greet guests in the hotel lobby as he hands out candy canes to all good little girls and boys on December 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on December 25 from noon to 2 p.m.
The traditional Christmas Eve Mass is scheduled on December 24, at 10 p.m. in the Rizal Ballroom. The New Year’s Eve Mass is scheduled on December 31, at 10 p.m. in the Isabela Ballroom.
SPECTACULAR NEW YORK!
Makati Shangri-La, Manila brings New York’s iconic Times Square and Broadway closer to home. Guests can revel in a succulent feast and exuberant cheers as the clock strikes 12 on the last night of the year.
The four-course New Year’s Eve dinner offers aperitif cocktails, cheese and dessert buffet at Sage Mezzanine from 6 p.m. to midnight. The hotel will ring in the New Year with a countdown to 2016 at Lobby Lounge, where guests can indulge in a cheese-and-dessert buffet and a delectable three-course dinner paired with a magical musical piece from a well-loved Broadway show. Black tie and formal wear is required.
