When it comes to Greek cuisine, Cyma Greek Taverna remains a favorite among food enthusiasts and diners looking for a unique gastronomic adventure. Now, after more than 10 years of delivering that one-of-a-kind OPA moment to delighted guests, Cyma is taking the Greek food experience a notch higher with new dishes, better-quality homegrown ingredients, and flexible serving options.
“We have constantly listened to our guests, and we worked with these new ingredients to create traditional dishes that were made even more traditional,” shares Cyma’s Chef Robby Goco, who fell in love with Greek cuisine over a decade ago. “I knew right then and there that I had to bring Greek cuisine to the Philippines, and Cyma was born.” In the same way Cyma introduced the Filipino diner to Greek cuisine, the restaurant is bringing an all-new set of offerings guaranteed to enthrall food lovers everywhere.
Among these soon-to-be-favorites are the Whole Saranggani Sea Bass, local fish prepared with a Greek twist; Dips with Homemade Pita, made fresh daily in-store; and Lamb Yiouvetsi, a paella-like dish with rice-shaped pasta and Greek kefalotiri cheese. Try Cyma’s “progressive Greek” dishes as well: house originals fusing Greek flavors and cooking styles with Filipino tastes and preferences. Sample the sumptuous Beef Kalamaki, beef rib fingers with homemade pita and parsley salad; taste the flavorful Fried Calamari and Black Rice Salad, dressed in red onion and pomegranate; and relish the Roasted Alaskan King Crab Legs, cooked in lemon garlic herb butter and served with cashew garlic pasta.
Cyma’s new menu also offers flexibility based on guests’ preferences. Vegan, nut-free, gluten-free, low-carb or high-protein options are available, as well as customizable samplers and different sizes for salads and pastas (solo, share and family options) and the Kreatika meat platter (for 2, 4, or 8 people). Make no mistake: despite these enhancements, Cyma still celebrates perfect simplicity and natural flavors. However, the evolution of Cyma definitely doesn’t end here. As Chef Robby assures, “We will continue to surprise you and give you that OPA moment, an experience that will always be about the gathering of people around food.”
