Building on that spirit, the hotel introduces Group Dining at Tapenade, offering guests a more considered way to gather over Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and gracious service.
Group Dining extends this experience across a range of occasions, from intimate celebrations with family and friends to business lunches, corporate gatherings and cocktail receptions. Rather than prescribing a single format, the experience allows each gathering to take shape according to the occasion, the company and the way guests wish to dine.
“At Discovery Primea, we believe that some of the best experiences begin around a table,” says David Pardo de Ayala, General Manager of Discovery Primea. “Tapenade has always had that sense of warmth and character, and Group Dining allows us to extend that experience to different kinds of gatherings while maintaining the level of service and hospitality our guests expect from us.”
For Executive Chef Luis Chikiamco, this spirit of sharing is at the heart of Mediterranean dining. “Mediterranean dining is inherently social. The food is meant to be placed at the center of the table, shared and enjoyed together,” says Chef Luis. “With Group Dining, we want the food to encourage conversation and make the meal feel relaxed and welcoming. The experience should be as much about being together as it is about what is on the table.”
Tapenade offers spaces suited to gatherings of different sizes and settings. A semi-private room accommodates 8 to 10 guests, creating a more intimate setting for small celebrations, conversations and meetings. Larger gatherings can make use of the main dining room, suitable for buffet dinners and pass-around cocktail receptions.
For occasions requiring greater privacy, the restaurant may also be reserved exclusively, allowing guests to transform the space for family celebrations, corporate gatherings, product launches or cocktail receptions.
Whether gathering around a long lunch with colleagues, celebrating with family or raising a glass with friends, Group Dining invites guests to experience Tapenade in a way that feels personal to the occasion. Because sometimes, the best reason to gather is simply to have a seat at the table.
