Peggy Angeles is not complaining, as she is now Senior Vice President for Hotel Operations of the SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, with a portfolio that includes Taal Vista Hotel, Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson, Pico Sands, and the Conrad Manila Hotel, currently under construction.
Over at Shangri-La at the Fort, Cecile Weber has assumed the Director of Sales and Marketing post straight from Makati Shangri-La—so far their flagship property in the Philippines. Let’s wait and see how the Fort will figure in the billing of the five Shangri-La hotels in the country, when it opens later this year.
